Policy Against Bullying and Harassment

The Children’s Study Home is committed to providing a safe environment for all children and families. To this end, we are dedicated to stopping bullying and harassment by providing awareness, prevention and education and by promoting an atmosphere in which bullying, harassment, and intimidation are not tolerated by students, children, families, employees, visitors, or volunteers.

Bullying may involve, but is not limited to:

  • Teasing
  • Social exclusion
  • Threats
  • Intimidation
  • Stalking
  • Physical violence
  • Theft
  • Sexual, religious, or racial harassment
  • Public humiliation
  • Destruction of Property
  • Cyber-stalking
  • Cyber-bullying

The Children’s Study Home expects all of those in our community (those we serve, staff, volunteers, vendors, partners) to conduct themselves as appropriate for their levels of development, maturity, and demonstrated capabilities with a proper regard for the rights and welfare of others and the mission and purpose underlying all organization activities, and the care of our facilities and equipment.

We strive to ensure an atmosphere of respect for self and others in all we do and consider this a guiding principal in our work and relationships.
