The Children’s Study Home will be hosting an ALICE Active Shooter Training to better prepare for life-and-death encounters. ALICE’S mission is to save lives and to help you to better prepare for life-and-death situations. The course will be held over two days on February 20th and 21st, 2019 from 8am to 4pm at the Mill Pond Springfield School. The cost of the course is $595. February 20, 2019 – Day 1 (8:00-4:00)

8:00-10:00 – Introduction to ALICE, historical perspective, active shooter research data

10:00-10:15 – Break

10:15-12:00 – ALICE Strategies

12:00-1:00 – Lunch and move to scenario location

1:00-1:30 – Safety Protocols

1:30-4:00 – ALICE Scenarios

 

February 21, 2019 – Day 2 (8:00-4:00)

8:00-9:00 – (back to classroom) Review ALICE, discussion and questions from previous day

9:00-10:00 – Review Governmental and Association Recommendation documents

10:00-12:00 – ALICE Implementation strategy and materials

12:00-1:00 – Lunch

1:00-1:30 – Receive Implementation assignments

1:30-3:00 – Prepare for Implementation Presentations

3:00-4:00 – Implementation Presentations by each group
